The DIO59618A is a highly integrated power management IC that integrates functions such as Buck, Boost, power path management, LDO, two independent discharge management, and independent detection for load. In addition, the chip integrates temperature protection, input overvoltage, faulty battery, and charging timeout protection, making the charging process very safe and reliable. The DIO59618A supports charging and discharging voltage and current regulation through I2C communication, it integrates two output current limiting switches and provides independent load presence and access detection. The DIO59618A integrates communication ports, enabling high-speed communication between the MCU and earphones, greatly simplifying peripheral components and circuits. The DIO59618A synchronous boost system supports a maximum output current of 1 A with an efficiency of up to 93%. It also supports low quiescent power consumption, which can be as low as 1 μA in ship mode.
